Shoebox Collections: Shells of Northeast

For kids of all ages, these collections — in a shoebox, as I collected natural objects as a kid (no frogs though) — contain many common species of seashells and ocean creatures. There are also tools for collecting, observing and studying your own discoveries, identification pages for the species in your shoebox collection, instructions on how to collect and clean the shells you find, maps, and other information about seashells and the animals that live in them.

Shoebox collections DO contain miniature and micro shells, so they are not recommended for children under the age of 10.
